Bar Manager

Under the guidance of the Food and Beverage Manager the successful candidate will be accountable for managing the Bar Department and achieving established targets. He/she ensures that company standards are maintained and a high element of creativity is evident in product offerings.

Specific Requirements/Duties of the Position include:

  • Coordinate the day to day function of all bars to ensure the facilities’ readiness for service.
  • Utilize the check book system to ensure that OS&E is kept at required par levels and budgetary guidelines are achieved.
  • Ensure that established sanitation and HACCP procedures are followed. Complete monthly Bar report and submit to the Food and Beverage Director.
  • Continuously evaluate the performance and encourage improvement of bar staff.
  • Participate in the preparation of Food and Beverage Department budgets, goals and Monitor dead stock/slow moving items to ensure inventory carry-forward is kept at the minimum.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Five years’ experience in managing luxury hotel beverage operations and the ability to maintain the highest quality.
  • Knowledge of first class international resort beverage operation practices.
  • Superior product knowledge of all food and beverage offerings.

Bar Supervisor Vacancy - Sandals La Toc Regency Golf Resort & Spa

 

Bar Supervisor

The Bar Supervisor will be responsible for assisting the Beverage Manager in the running of the entire Beverage operation to ensure that all Bars and Catering facilities operate smoothly at all times, within the standard operating procedure. Simultaneously, maintaining F&B budget costs and continually monitoring and improving the level of service offered to our guests.

Specific Requirements/Duties of the Position include:

  • Assist in directing the function of administration and planning of the Beverage Department to meet the daily needs of the operation, including the Banquet facility and its’ functions.
  • Assist in developing, implementing and monitoring schedules for the operation of all Bars & Banquets to achieve a profitable result.
  • Ensure all team members complete bar stocks twice daily to ensure proper controls and opening & closing inventories.
  • Execute weekly bar inspections and provide report to Beverage Manager. Ensure at all times a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation are maintained.
  • Assist in planning and administering training and development programs within the Department.
  • Evaluate performance and encourage professional development of personnel in the Beverage Department.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Three years minimal management experience in similar multi outlet beverage operation with ability to maintain the highest level of standards.
  • Extensive beverage & wine knowledge
  • Formal training or equivalent apprenticeship training in Food & Beverage

HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Human Resources Department. He or she is expected to be a conceptual thinker with excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Specific Requirements/Duties of the Position Include:

  • Operating as the main point of contact for general HR inquiries from both internal and external customers.
  • Conducting audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programmes and recommending corrective actions.
  • Assisting with the preparation of the performance review process.
  • Maintaining both hard and digital copies of employees’ records.
  • Producing and submitting reports on general HR activities.
  • Assisting with payroll and ad-hoc HR projects.
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • College or University Degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ related experience required
  • Exposure to Labour Laws and employment regulations.
  • Exposure to payroll practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of computer applications and software.
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
