Job Title: Sales Executive

Reports To: Director of Sales and Marketing

Position Summary: A Vacation Club Sales Executive is an individual who is the personal point of contact and support to clients considering a timeshare property solution. They interview prospects to determine their specific needs and then develop plans to meet these requirements. Establishing trust with prospective owners throughout the sales process and ensuring that they are satisfied with joining Bay Gardens Vacation Club is the main concern of a Timeshare Sales Executive. Excellent initial and ongoing individual training provided. Professional support provided in all aspects of position. Exciting, fun and results driven work environment providing opportunity for advancement and excellent compensation. No prospecting, cold calling, lead generation or marketing. Roles And Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

  • Follow discovery process with strategically layered questions to determine each clients’ specific requirements and needs.
  • Explain the features, advantages and benefits of timeshare ownership with the Bay Gardens Vacation Club.
  • Provide walking property and Vacation Club Suite tour.
  • Provide clients with information on financing options and assist them in obtaining them.
  • Provide professional assistance in closing sales.
  • Perform limited and specific follow up activities.
  • Must be willing and able to work weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to project professional look and attitude representing high end leisure product to our invited guests.

Skills:

  • Must be a highly driven and motivated individual with a ‘go-getter’ attitude.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally.
  • Ability and willing to be trained and diligently strive for improvement.
  • Reliability and resilience French speaker. Not required but positive factor in hiring.

Qualifications Education:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Sales experience preferred but not required.
  • MUST have excellent “people skills”.
  • Ability to communicate and listen to prospects in a one on one setting.
  • Demonstrated experience in sales, customer service or service-oriented industry requiring positive interpersonal interaction as major part of position.

Job Summary: The Training and Development Manager is accountable for promoting continuous learning and managing the training and development of the Resorts’ colleagues. This role involved planning and coordinating colleague training and development within the framework of human resources policy guidelines established within Viceroy Hotel Group.
Job Responsibilities include:
  • Coordinating all in-house employee training and development activities
  • Developing and facilitating training and development programs to improve work related knowledge, skills and attitudes
  • Liaising with and assisting individual departments in developing and implementing their training and development plans
  • Identifying and coordinating opportunities for external training and development
  • Assisting with selecting, training and coaching and supporting departmental trainers
  • Continually assessing training needs, and annually conducting a formal, hotel wide needs assessment
  • Assisting in planning and coordinating colleague reward and recognition programs and HR led colleague functions and events
  • Providing advice and interpreting local legislation, HR policies and colleague handbook
  • Assisting with the orientation of new colleagues
  • Fulfilling any other related or ancillary duties and tasks required as directed by the Director of Human Resources or representative thereof
Required Qualities, Experience, Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, training/learning, organizational development or related field

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
  • More than 5 years’ experience in a Training and Development Manager role in a hotel environment

Position Summary: Performs routine duties in cleaning and servicing of guestrooms and baths under supervision of housekeeping supervisor. Room attendant promotes a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and should also able to address guest requests and problems.

Duties And Responsibilities Include:

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  • Clean all assigned guestrooms including: dusting, making beds, soiled linen removal from rooms, and retrieval of clean linen from linen closets, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, inside window cleaning, replenish rooms with supplies
  • Sign in and out master keys daily
  • Maintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Update and record all cleaned rooms
  • Return and properly tag all lost and found articles in the Housekeeping Office
  • Follow departmental policies and procedures and service standards
  • Report necessary maintenance items
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies
