Job Title Human Resource & Training Coordinator
Reports To Human Resource Manager
Position Summary The ideal candidate will work under the general guidance of the Human Resource Manager and will be responsible for the company’s Talent Development Strategy by coordinating and facilitating training programs and providing day-to-day administrative support to the Human Resource Manager.
Duties And Responsibilities Include
  • Assist with the organization of staff social events.
  • Assist with the organization of internship programs and ensure that all interns receive the necessary support and guidance during their industrial exposure training.
  • Ensure that up-to-date and accurate information is entered into the Human Resource Software in a timely manner.
  • Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times and provide information only to those with a need to know.
  • Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions as necessary.
  • Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
  • Maintain the organization’s staff by assisting with the recruitment, selection, orientation and training of employees.
  • Identify and assess current and future training needs.
  • Develop and deliver training solutions that meet business needs; making the best use of available resources including budgeted allocations.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Skills Ability to communicate clearly and accurately: verbally and in writing

Effective listening skills

Strong interpersonal skills

Ability to prioritize work under pressure and meet deadlines

Demonstrated skills in database management, time management, record keeping

General knowledge of the St. Lucia Labour Act

Qualifications Education

Minimum qualification – Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or similar field.



Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Human Resource Coordinator or similar role.

  • Provide effective team and project management duties, including overseeing project completion timelines, monitoring project costs, and ensuring client needs are met
  • Continuously reshape department best practices to provide highest client satisfaction
  • Provide outstanding leadership to team members, including opportunities for coaching and development, to maximise work output and work quality
  • Identify patterns and problem areas, and implement effective solutions to increase efficiency
  • Laise with superiors to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals

Qualification & Experience

  • Proven experience as Director of Operations or equivalent position
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
  • Outstanding communication and people skills
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Familiarity with MS Office and various business software
  • BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field; MSc/MA will be a plus
  • Work long hours and flexibility in shifts.
  • Standing on feet for long periods of time may be required

DIVISION:                            Casino Operations

 REPORTS TO:                     Tables Games Manager


Responsible for the activities of the PIT supervisors and dealers in the assigned area. Manage & direct the daily operations on the gaming floor. Survey the casino floor & looks for players that are cheating and remove suspect cards counters. Observe gaming personnel for evidence of theft or ties to dishonest players.


  • Monitors assigned pit to ensure integrity and compliance with established policies, procedures and Gaming Commission Guidelines.
  • Maintains surveillance on all tables in assigned area to assure the security of the games. Monitors the profitability of those games.
  • Closely monitors all paperwork for accuracy with particular attention to rating information and the shift manager’s report.
  • Authorizes issuance of markers.
  • Comps players as appropriate.
  • Communicates with Casino Hosts regarding VIP players.
  • Other tasks as requested by management.


High School diploma or G.E.D.  Minimum of five years experience on games in assigned area.  Minimum 2 years experience as Pit Supervisor or other supervisory or management position.


The following activities are normally required to perform these functions:  Stand,  walk,  bend,  reach,  read,  write,  eye to hand coordination,  depth perception,  effective verbal communication,  strong math skills,  excellent organizational skills.


Include but are not limited to:  back strain/sprain,   cuts from broken glass, high noise level, and inhalation of cigarette smoke.
